New Beginnings Spring Retreat

Now that winter is behind us and spring is in full bloom it is time not only to spring clean our houses but also ourselves. Open the windows and doors and let a gentle breeze blow on through. Out with the old and in with the new. Come join us for a day of rest and relaxation: yoga, meditation, silence, beautiful foods and peaceful meditative healing music, Healing sound bath with Baba Doc.


Itinerary

NEW BEGININGS ARRIVAL

June 15th @12:30pm


RESTORATIVE YOGA

1:00 – 2:30pm
Please eat lightly, about 2 – 4 hours, before practicing yoga. If you have never done yoga I will do my best to find poses that will work for you so you feel at ease.


YOUR QUIET TIME

2:30 – 4:00pm
During this time you can go for a walk, or bike ride, read a book, draw, go for a swim, relax in a wonderful state of the art massage chair what ever you would like to do while basking in silence. There will be a variety of refreshing beverages, healthy snacks, and a light farm fresh dinner served.


DISCUSSION OR MEDITATION

4 – 4:45pm
Discover ways to restore balance in our lives, or opt to keep the silence growing with Meditation. We will decide how to use this time at the beginning of the retreat.


DINNER

4:45 – 5:45pm
We will have a variety of foods so if there are food restrictions you will be able to find something to enjoy. If you would like to bring your own foods should your dietary restrictions be such that you are nervous you will not find anything suitable you are welcome to do that.


HEALING SOUND BATH WITH BABA DOC

6:00 – 7:30pm
“The Father The Doctor of Sound” Baba Doc created Healing Sound Bath by using a variety of percussion instruments. Each with a unique voice and energy to create an experience that promotes relaxation, stress relief, and healing.

Participants bathe in the soothing energies of gongs, cymbals, meditation bells, ocean drums, rain sticks, kamale ngoni, and the hand pan amongst other instruments. Baba Doc provides additional colors and feelings to the experience as he plays his instruments to help lead one to a state of bliss, harmony and peace.
